The property was a multifamily home that was in need of an up-dated and upgraded deck and porch.

For the back deck we removed all the old decking and installed new Fiberon Concordia composite decking in Graphite with Trex transcend rails.

For the front porch we removed the decking from the existing porch and stairs, removed all the framing material from the stairs and porch and bolted new pressure treated box beams to the exterior wall and front columns.  

We also custom-cut and framed out the new stair stringers, cut out and removed the existing aluminum wrapping, girders and columns from under the roof line. We had to install new pressure treated 2 x 12 girders across the front porch line and covered with Azek composite materials and we installed extra blocking and supports to the new decking. New Fiberon Concordia decking with Trex rails were installed and to finish the job 8″ DSI columns to match original early mid century design were installed.

Fiberon Concordia is a great choice for residential decking for a number of reasons:
